A mobile 25,000 CFM desiccant dehumidifier is about as big as they come.
But when there’s an emergency clean up required, anywhere in the United States, Gerry Rogers and Unlimited Restoration Specialist, Inc. can use the 3 units he has in stock. Each 25,000 CFM Desiccant is mounted on a 53 foot tractor trailer which can be driven to any trouble spot in the country, such as Houston, after the most recent hurricane Ike. Two of the dehumidifiers are propane reactivated running off 3,500 propane tanks and a generator, while the third desiccant uses electrical reactivation and a 400 KW desiel power generator with a heat recovery system designed by Arid Dry, a versatility that URI employees appreciate. “We were able to dry up a class A, 150 thousand square foot office building in Houston in just two to three weeks, after Hurricane Gustav ripped the penthouse suite off the top of the building allowing torrential rains to pour in.,” Rogers said. In addition to doing the work in a timely manner, the Arid-Dry Desiccant System built by CDIMS looks very impressive while parked on the street during the restoration process. In fact he said, someone walked up to him during the Houston disaster and hired him on the spot from the apperance of the large capacity desiccant and its flexible ability to get the job done. Arid-Dry by CDIMS builds desiccants from a 600 CFM to the 25,000 CFM units owned by Unlimited Restoration Specialists Inc. |
