Not only did the desiccant do the job in short order, the equipment looks professional when it’s parked on the street doing its job.

It took only two days to help save a historic building, using a 5,000 SCFM desiccant dehumidifier, designed and built by ARID-Dry by CDIMS. David Mason, CRC, WLS, owner of Atlantic Restoration Inc., was called upon to dry out a flooded lower level. The water lines burst in the historic Tabernacle Theater in Atlanta, Georgia during a artic cold snap in January. The desiccant dehumidifier is powered by 480/3/60 electricity and mounted on a trailer, allowing David and his crew to quickly set up and begin work on removing the water by drying the air. The ease of operating the 5,000 SCFM unit, according to David, allowed his crew to get the work done in just two days, a plus because the area was filled with celebrants for the presidential inauguration. Not only did the desiccant do the job in short order, the equipment looks professional when it’s parked on the street doing its job.
