Al purchased a 6.5 ton ARID-Cool A/C unit, from ARID-Dry and has used it on several different occasions when a standard A/C unit just won’t do. In June, the air temperature in Charleston was 99 degrees and the ARID-Cool unit had to air condition a tent where a fund raiser for a local hospital was being held. The 6 foot tall, 28 inch wide unit was loaded onto a trailer with a drop down tailgate , which was then pulled up to the tent. The units design is so unique, that all Al had to do was open the door to the tent, put up some plastic sheeting and cool the space. Al’s used this unit to cool down libraries, a hospital and several school facilities.
