Multi-Purpose Arena
Century-Tel Center is a 15,000 seat
new multi-purpose spectator arena.
The Arena is located near Shreveport,
Louisiana. The units are arranged
to supplement the chilled water/hot
water reheat system to eliminate
fog condensation.

CDH-1114 Dehumidification Units
CDI, MS successfully designed (4)
CDH-1114 Desiccant Dehumidifiers with
chilled water pre-cooling coils. Each
unit handles 28,000 SCFM which delivers
the dry-air to the main air handling
system to supplement the HVAC system.
Each
unit provides a total airflow of 28,000
SCFM with a moisture removal of 2,250
lbs/hr in the summer months. |

Place
Multi-Purpose Ice Arena
McMorran Place is a 5,000 seat existing
spectator arena. The existing chilled
water/hot water reheat system did
not eliminate fog or condensation
in the spring, summer and fall.

MDH-160
Dehumidification Units
CDI,MS designed a single MDH-160
Desiccant Dehumidification and ventilation
unit to supplement the existing
HVAC system.
This unit provides a total airflow
of 12,000 SCFM with a moisture removal
rate of 750 lbs/hr in the summer
months. Continuous 100% outside
air dehumidifed ventilation is available.
The
unit utilizes natural gas to reactivate
the desiccant.
